YOu’re Not Lazy
Happy 2026 🥳 The first time I wrote the date for this year I had a moment: This is the year I turn 50 😳
I'm sure all of my feelings will turn up sporadically over the next 11 months, but I'll spare you the angst for now.
Yesterday I was on an accountability call with some colleagues when I mentioned my 12 week coaching program. One of the women politely interrupted me:
"You keep talking about your 12 week program, but what is it?"
I laughed out loud. She was highlighting the problem I always face when it comes time to promote something I offer.
I create a program or a product, but when it comes time to actually advertise it, I shove my hands in my pocket, look at the ground, kick some rocks and shrug my shoulders.
That is my advertising skill set in a nut shell. The suggestion is to create a great product and tell everyone about it. I'm more of, create a great product, whisper about it to a few people, hope the people who might need the product find it, and then move on to other products....

Here's what my 12 week program is all about:

These days, few people need to know what to do. Hence the often repeated I know what I need to be doing I'm just not doing it line. But we don't know how to make it fit into our lives. We might have time to workout after we get home from a day of teaching, but not the energy. In theory you could meal prep on Sundays, but in reality you're taking care of everyone else's needs, so how do you even fit that in?
So many people think they're just lazy.
You're not lazy. These are real challenges.
My program helps you solve those challenges.
This kind of work is also incredibly difficult to do on your own. Of course it's possible, but it's also January and it's dark and cold and snow.
Just, snow.
Adopting healthy lifestyle changes is just a tad easier if you have an accountability partner and coach checking in with you. And if you have a space to talk about what makes all of this change hard. To hear other people's stories and know you're not alone.
